Company History

Universal Digital Productions Inc, is the manifestation of entrepreneur Andrew Oeltmann’s extraordinary vision. Created in 1997 in response to the booming telephony industry, Unidig has grown from a one-man band to a thriving, fully staffed and intern-equipped half-a-million dollar a year company. Andrew envisioned a company with the right mix of professionalism and personality. He and digital-audio wizard Marc Harris consciously created a work space that encouraged its employees to think like entrepreneurs but work like bees. Because of this, Unidig has evolved into the sort of company that hands out shot glasses and fraternity-style ball caps as promotional gifts and in the same turn delivering 165,000 custom prompts three months ahead of deadline. Our clients will tell you that Drew answers the phone as often as he’s answered to and he’s created a company culture that embodies the maxim customers are always right. Looking to the future Drew plans, among other things, to produce as many prompts as McDonald’s has hamburgers, so he’s constantly on the lookout for potential partners, new vendors, and ways to expand the fledgling Unidig empire. In the meantime, he’s happy to sit on his back porch with his near-famous Border Collie, Argo, and watch the sun set over downtown Nashville.

Voice Talent Appreciation Day!
at Universal Digital Productions, Inc.

UniDig’s voice talents are some of the most recognized in the telecom industry. Some can say that they’ve even put themselves on hold! On occasion they’ve changed their schedules, or dropped what ever it was they were doing to come by and record a project – ensuring a satisfied customer.

To thank them for making us look so good, UniDig wanted to celebrate with a Voice Talent Appreciation Day! Anje Dowler, a licenced massage therapist and owner and operator of Dynamic Touch spent three hours giving chair massages to the staff and voice talents of UniDig. Needless to say the day was met with both excitement and a relaxing calm.
